I’m a research-track resident in psychiatry at Columbia and joined the Costa lab in March 2020 for my postdoctoral fellowship. I’m interested in the molecular organization of basal ganglia circuits that regulate diverse brain functions relevant to psychiatric and movement disorders. I plan to use cutting edge molecular and genetic tools to identify distinct subpopulations within basal ganglia output circuits that control divergent behaviors.
